The (non-dictionary) Definition of Community

Community is a vibrantly colored tree

that explodes with new leaves

and never fails to joyfully include. 

It seems to infinitely grow,

continuously welcoming new leaves in every color

The only aspect that it fails in

Is to exclude people from its various branches 

But rather...

Community welcomes in 

With joyful happy arms 

And never fails to except 

The differences that some people may have

And instead embraces these qualities,

Happy to have a diverse commune rather 

Then a boring old one

Like a tree, these people are connected

Nothing seems to penetrate this relationship

And with this in mind 

It makes a safe abode for people to reside in

This is Community.
