Having fun with my best friend

We went to the park

And had a fun time

With my friend, Caleb, and my dad.

Then we went home

And watched a movie

And we ate popcorn.

We went into my room

We played games

We played tag.

It was the day before Christmas.

We opened our presents.

We got so much stuff.

The whole entire week

During break

I felt happy.

Hoverboard

when you lean forwards it moves forward 

when you lean backwards it moves back

When I ride it I feel like I can do anything 

I feel like I can fly! 

When I turn right I spin super fast like a spintop  

when I get off I always fall down but I always get back up.

The Best Day of My Life

I liked to read.

Japanese Food

My love for food is like no other.

All of the different foods I smother,

Some are delicious, 

Some are not.

Some are just one big clot.

Although I eat as much food as I please,

There is nothing better than Japanese.

There are burritos, tostitos, and fish,

But there is only one food for I wish,

That I could have a Japanese dish.

There are chocolate frogs from Harry Potter,

Jello that jiggles and totters,

As there is much food to pick from,

Japanese is the best food for yum.     

Hannah Weber is an elementary student. She LOVES all things food, and enjoys anime, art, and music. She hopes to be a Manga Artist when she grows up.

Recess

Being able to see friends from other classes.

Different

I’m different.

I’m different like everyone else in the whole wide world.

I might be the only one in my class that has gone to South Africa,

But does that matter?

No, it doesn’t because I’m different and I’m fine with that.

I’m not going to scream or cry or throw a chair across the room,

because I’m different and I’m proud of that. 

Sabina Siedner is a 3rd grade student at the Mission Hill school. She likes art and playing the piano. Sabina’s favorite books are Harry Potter and the Wrinkle in Time series.
